I made this beauty again to make sure the recipe is FLAWLESS n I can’t get over how good this is - So the first time making it, I used honey as the only sweetener, but I found the honey a little overpowering so I used less this time around but you still get a lil honey flava. Also I reduced the sweetness by 1/4 c but if you like things sweeter you can add 1/4c more coconut sugar/ honey. But you guys need to try this, its so moist n fluffy n gawjuz 🤤🙌🏻 - Recipe: 1/2 c coconut flour 1/2 c almond flour 1 oat flour - (if you don’t have any just put regular oats in a processor until floury) 1/2 c coconut sugar + a little extra for sprinkling 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp cardamom 1/2 tsp pink salt 6 tbsp melted ghee 1/4 c honey 2 tbsp blood orange juice 3 tbsp yogurt 2 eggs 1 tsp vanilla 1 c coconut milk (or any other) 1-2 sliced blood oranges - Preheat the oven to 180c, lightly grease a 7” round springform tin and sprinkle some coconut sugar on the base and around the sides and place the sliced blood orange on the base, set aside. In a large bowl mix all the dry ingredients. In another bowl, combine the ghee, honey, blood orange juice, yogurt and vanilla, beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in the coconut milk. Slowly add and fold in the wet mixture to the dry until combined. Pour mix into the prepared tin, smooth over and place in the middle of the oven for 25-35 minutes (until toothpick comes out clean). Take the cake out the oven and let cool for 10 minutes in the tin then carefully turn out onto a drying rack. ENJOY! 🍰♥️
